The Christian Healing Academy is our main training platform for pastoral and prayer teams, but is suitable for anyone with an interest in Christian Healing.

Reconciliation & Peacemaking
Everyone knows that sometimes people fall out and we find it especially difficult and disappointing when it happens within a church community, particularly so when others behave in a way that comes across as un-Christlike or plainly unchristian.
The challenge is that people in life are different and where difference occurs in any community, we face the possibility of conflict. Acorn’s ministry of healing, includes the healing of relationships and the wounds that accompany conflict.
Using our Reflective Listening process, and reflecting on the shared story of all those involved, Acorn has worked with churches from various denominations to transform conflict into a place of grace and peace. Culminating in a gathered service of peace we have had the privilege of seeing churches begin to heal, hope and begin to journey together again.

Acorn Listening Academy
The Acorn Listening Academy is an intensive one day program which will provide basic skills for listening well in both informal and formal settings. The Listening Academy will enable you to develop the skills you need to connect with others, bringing healing and wholeness into their lives. The Acorn Listening Academy runs in person. It can also be modified for a corporate setting or a small church setting.
