Called to Listen Week

Called to Listen is Acorn’s advanced course for those who feel called to develop their listening skills. All candidates must have completed ‘Listening for Life’ (previously called ‘Learning to Listen’). This 12 session course builds on the experience of the previous course and teaches further listening skills using the mirroring method as a foundation. It also invites participants to listen carefully to themselves as part of their growth in wholeness, and to listen to God in a variety of ways.

Is this for me? Yes, if you

• Have found your previous Acorn Listening training helpful and useful in your ministry
• Respect others, are non-judgemental, and can keep confidences 
• Are open to learn from suffering and can enter the sufferings of others in a mature way 
• Know your own need for training and supervision and your own limits of competence and are willing to work in cooperation with others 
• Have some ideas as to how you will use it

Course details

This course is led by Members of the Christian Listener Team

• Cost: £430
• All candidates must have completed ‘Listen for Life' previously called 'Learning to Listen'

The next scheduled course is Sunday 30th September 2012 to Saturday 6th October 2012 (Residential, Starting mid afternoon on Sunday and finishing after lunch on Saturday )
