
Simon Strachan has been a Trustee since 1997 having held a number of senior management posts in the NHS. He is a Licenced Lay Minister in the Church of England and has been Chairman of Trustees since 2005.
Liz Slinn lives in Winchester with her husband Mike and family. After a long career in health service management she was delighted to join the Board of Trustees of Acorn shortly after a sudden retirement five years ago. Liz is also a member of Portsmouth Roman Catholic Diocese Board of Trustees and enjoys furthering her studies and contributing to the work of the Church in various ministries now she has the time.
Peter Brunskill qualified as a Doctor from Manchester University in 1980 and worked as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in West Yorkshire for almost 20 years. He retired from NHS practice in 2009 and now works mainly as a Medical Expert. He also undertakes occasional locums. Although not ideologically Anglican, Peter has been a member of the Bradford Cathedral congregation since 1995 and his interest in Christian Healing commenced when he joined the Cathedral’s Healing Prayer Group. He believes that the worlds of Church and Medicine are simply different aspects of Christ’s healing ministry and should be seen as complimentary, rather than different.
Moy Gill has been a trustee since 2000. Before that she was an Acorn staff member with the Christian Listening team for 11 years. She is a retired doctor.
Chris Goff has worked in business for a number of years in the catering and hotel industries in roles such as Finance Director and Managing Director. He left full time work in 2001 and then joined Acorn as Business Manager until early 2009 when he retired.
He is blessed with a family of 4 sons and 1 daughter and 2 grandsons and have been married to Helen for just over 30 years.
Chris and Helen are both trained Listener Tutors and attend St Paul’s Church in Camberley. He was invited in June to join the Trustees of Acorn and was appointed as Trustee and Company Secretary.
Andy Heber has been a Trustee since 2008 but has been involved as an Acorn Listening Tutor since 1990. He is currently a vicar in Kirkby, Liverpool where he has been since 2003.
Len Lunn is a retired Vicar and Hospice Chaplain but is still active around Salisbury Cathedral and diocese.
Keith Mantell lives and worships wiht his family in Winchester, and works in the Information Technology industry. He became an Acorn trustee in 2002.
Clifford Owen was a Priest-in-Charge of St Mark's shared Church, Bordon from 1976-1989. He has been a Whitehill Chase Trustee since 1977 and an Acorn Trustee since 2008. He is now Priest-in-Charge of Ostende and Brugge in Belgium.
